LORD, I repent for not understanding the greatness of your covenant towards, even, the greatness of the covenant ratified by your blood. I have gained a little understanding today that as Christ begins to inhabit more of me through the ministry of the Holy Ghost that the authority of Christ becomes evident in my life. Forgive me for my doubts, fears and insecurities, my lack of trust, my lack of faith in you. You have stated explicitly and clearly,
Mark 16:17-18
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Rejected By Men, Chosen By God
1 Peter 2:4
4You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God's temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor.

It has been approximately six months since Debbie, Ron, Heather, Sam, Jessica and I have been preparing meals and carrying out on every couple weeks to the homeless in Bridgetown, Barbados. I give God thanks for the opportunity to do some good and to help those who are in need. This started as an idea and then went to five meals, ten meals, fifteen meals etc. I remember once we even got to over thirty meals. I believe for the year so far approx. 300 meals have been served.
I give God thanks for another Saturday where we have gathered in Sayers Court to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. Once again we have praised, worshipped, testified and proclaimed that Jesus Is Lord. It is a privilege to be a co-labourer with our Lord and Saviour Christ Jesus as well as with Pastor Lambert, Allison, Maxine and all the others who have worked so hard to make this a reality.
Jesus said the fields are ripe and that joy awaits the planter and the harvester. You have sent us O Lord to reap where we have not sowed and to harvest what we did not plant. Show us how ripe the fields and grant us the heart and courage of a lion in proclaiming the word of God. May our heart be filled with love and may Sayers court be brought to the foot of the cross. We ask for labourers, In Jesus name. Amen
John 4:34-38
Sometimes it is so easy to get caught up in our so-called pursuit of God that we start to forget the simple things. I think that ever so often God reminds us of the simple things we so often forget. I was privileged in my time here in Toronto to meet some beautiful folks at the St Simon the Apostle Anglican Church here in Toronto. It was truly a blessing to see the work that they have been doing and I would like to thank my good friend Ena for extending the invitation to visit.
I boarded my flight to Trinidad at 8:20am. This was the first stop in my journey to Toronto. What would the conference hold this year? My prayer is that Jesus would be lifted high.
I am here in a cafe at Piarco International Airport. I just had a sprite, Apple Cranberry cookie and a ham and cheese sandwich. I should be boarding at 1:20pm. Here with me are Debbie, Heather and Ron. The conference actually starts on September 24 but we are heading up early.
It is great arrogance to believe that the world as we know it and everything exists just for man to be born and enjoy himself as much as possible. Yet many believe this to be the exact purpose for life; but in fact this is a lack of purpose. Even the cattle and water have purpose, so how much more should man. Water is needed for mankind to survive; many animals serve the purpose of food and/or transportation to keep man alive. Yet many see no purpose for man in life and refuse to accept that there must be a purpose for the creation of man.
Some would say, there is nothing like a good book. Books are usually used for studying or leisure and consists of many kinds with varying information. What would you say if I told you that there is even a book that contains the events of your life?
Revelation 20:12+13
I saw the dead, both great and small,standing before God's throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to the things written in the books, according to what they had done. The sea gave up the dead in them. They were all judged according to their deeds.
In Matthew 6:19-21, Jesus was teaching his disciples as the crowds were gathering. It was at this time that he taught what I consider to be one of his most profound statements.
Jesus said, ' Don't store up treasures here on earth. where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safefrom thieves. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
